Eight Sides of History

The Octagon Museum houses some artifacts about the famous Simon Bolivar, but it is also famous for its stand-out design. An octagonal two-story building painted in a bright mustard yellow, you might not expect this house to be more than just another interesting building on the Curacao skyline.

But the Octagon Museum played an important part in history. It was actually somewhere that the Venezuelan "Libertador" Simon Bolivar spent time before he assembled forces and put an end to the Spanish colonial rule in South America. Take an hour to visit this interesting museum.
