Open Air Exploration

Kas di Pal'I Maishi is a open air interactive museum that shows life in Curacao around the turn of the 20th century. A kas di pal'i maishi is the name for a cottage built on land that is used to produce food for a family.

The kas di pal'i maishi featured at the museum is around 120 years old. You can learn about the construction of the cottage and the history of Curacao from when it became a slave depot in the 17th century up to the present day. There are also a number of activities in which you can participate, such baking pan sera in a bread oven outside.
