This charming little beach, also called Boka Sami, lies adjacent to the fishing hamlet of Sint Michiel and provides a calmer, quieter alternative to many of Curacao's bigger sands. Fishermen regularly ply the waters here, and if you feel so inspired you can try your own luck by casting from the local pier.
Besides trying to outsmart nearshore fish and worshipping Boka Sint Michiel's turquoise waters, you can also follow footpaths into the flanking hills, or make a pilgrimage to one of the nearby fish shops for some fresh seafood. There's some good snorkeling and diving in the general vicinity as well.
