Some of the most interesting aspects of old Catholic churches are the relics they contain. Dubrovnik Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin, certainly doesn't disappoint in that regard.
Here are ensconced the arm, leg and skull of Saint Blasius, the patron saint of Dubrovnik. But that's not all you find in this ancient Gothic Baroque cathedral. The treasury contains several notable piece of art, including a circa 1552 painting called The Assumption by the revered artist Titian. In the treasury you also find Raphael's Virgin of the Chair.
