If you are a Buddhist, or simply interested in their way of life and worship, a trip to this monastery should be one of your go-to trips. The large monastery, founded in 1949, includes five temples, four pavilions, a verandah and a pagoda with 451 steps lined by 500 statues of live life-sized Arahans. It is a community of devout Buddhist monks and laity, so they require that visitors respect their religious requirements. As long as you are willing to follow their rules, you are free to walk throughout their large and beautiful monastery and see how they live their religious life.
