Shanghai Street is a 2km long street in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Originally known under the moniker Station Street, it was once upon a time the most prosperous street in Kowloon. That glamorous sheen has largely faded, and Shanghai Street is currently known mostly as a great place to shop for kitchenware. Kitchenware might not be the most engaging reason to visit, but Shanghai Street's allure is taking a nostalgic walk down the streets reminiscent of the Hong Kong of old.
