Hike, Bike, or Ride

The Galloping Goose Regional Trail is a 55-mile trail that stretches between Victoria and Sooke. Originally part of the freight rail line constructed during WWI, the trail is now part of the Trans Canada Trail that stretches from coast to coast. The trail is a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors. Come to walk for a stretch or bike. People even ride horseback. The trail is flanked by marvelous scenery that includes urban and wilderness sections. If you want to explore the scenery of Victoria, this is a great trail to hike on your own or with friends.
