A little bit this and a little bit that, but all of it in the vein of fine dining with a casual attitude, Camille's has been known to win the honor of Best Restaurant in Victoria from time to time by Vancouver Magazine's Annual Restaurant Awards. The highly diverse, seasonal menu is as this and that as the décor: Pork, beef, chicken, of course, but also venison, caribou, elk, pheasant, quail, ostrich, and duck. And seafood, which probably spent the morning enjoying a daily swim around the harbor before becoming dinner. In the heart of Bastion Square, you can watch the goings on out the window as you dine by candlelight to the distant strains of jazz and the blues. Yes, this place feels so nice.
