Famous City Park

Beacon Hill Park is often regarded as one of the downtown Victoria's most celebrated sites. Established in 1882, the park is situated on 200 serene acres filled with beautiful natural attractions. When you visit, you can expect to witness horse-drawn carriages and strolling peacocks. With its lakes, bridges, and ponds, there's something extraordinary around every bend. Enjoy visiting with your family or come here to relax among the lovely scenery. If you visit with kids, be sure to visit the great petting zoo on the grounds. There is even a putting green on the park's grounds for golf lovers.

Utrip Tips

*There's so much you can do here (like the rhododendron gardens, the petting zoo, and the lighthouse), so if you're feeling a little overwhelmed, here's a map.

*Also, check out the totem pole; it's one of the largest in the world at 132 feet tall.

*This spot is a local favorite! Recommended by Local Experts David Roberts, Ellie Shortt and Esi Edugyan
