There's lot of rich history in Victoria, and you can really sink your teeth into it at Bard and Banker, a family-friendly dining establishment located in the 1862 building that housed the Bank of British Columbia and others from the day the doors opened until 1988. This gorgeous space features original molding on the walls and ceilings, dotted with ornate period chandeliers, as well as open staircases with gilt railings, rows of columns that stretch from floor to ceiling, and high, rounded windows. Although the food here is delicious and includes gluten-free and vegetarian options, it's a night of imbibing with friends, old and new, that we recommend. Live music is featured nightly, as well as local craft and premium imported beers and a huge range of fine spirits and wine. So get your historic on and cozy up for a fun night of drinks and dancing.
*Happy Hour is every day from 3:00–6:00.
