An Educational Garden

Vancouver is known for its mix of urban and natural landscapes and a visit to the University of British Columbia's Botanical Garden houses a collection of native and international plants to educate visitors about the biodiversity of the area and temperate regions around the world.

Guided tours and walks will take you around the garden to view collections like the Arbour Garden, Herbaceous Borders, North American Gardens, and collections of wild gathered species. Grab a map and take the Walk in the Woods trail through an old coastal rainforest and then stop in the shop and garden centre before you go for books, gardening tools and accessories, and selections of perennials, small trees, shrubs and vines.
