It's hard to believe at first site that Trout Lake Farmers Market started off as a 14-farmer sit-in to sell their wares. But thankfully for the rest of Vancouver, it took off running from there.
Celebrating over two decades of community sharing, TLFM is far more than a marketplace. Sure, it features conventionally grown and organic produce free range meats, as well as homemade and prepared foods of all types.
But it also acts as a type of community fair by providing entertainment by local musicians, hosting a face painting booth for the kids, and even keeping a local resident balloon sculptor on call.
