This is the Vancouver home of good English food. It's based on the idea of an English gastropub, and serves classic English pub fare, well cooked, with popular beers from over the pond.
Prices are mid-range rather than cheap, but the bangers and mash, roast dinners with Yorkshire puddings, Scotch eggs and sticky toffee puddings are legendary among Anglophiles. The ambiance is pub-like, with old-style wood fittings, and it can get noisy.
Be aware of the rather restricted opening hours which are evenings only, Tuesday to Friday.
