This once abandoned church gathers people together again with a new purpose, bringing diverse performances to Vancouver. The Vancouver East Cultural Centre, affectionately known as The Cultch, opened its doors in 1973 and has been presenting dance, theater, and music ever since.
The building was renovated in 2008 and became a state of the art performance space. Shows rotate so there's always something new to see. The theater is laid out so that sight lines are good from every seat in the house. They even have a house bar for intermission refreshments.
