Art in Education and Exhibition

This public art gallery, named for the first principal of the Vancouver School of Art, showcases contemporary art at the Emil Carr University of Art + Design on Granville Island. The Gallery partners with the University to present exhibitions and programs for the discussion and education of art and design.

As well as exhibiting the public, the space functions as a teaching gallery for students to learn about contemporary art in Canada as well as curatorial practices. Be sure to check their calendar for events which occur weekly and include lectures, film screenings, and musical performances.
