If you're looking for a challenging hike, try the Stawamus Chief Trail. The trails for all three peaks are accessible from the main Chief Hiking Trail. They are rated moderately difficult, which means you have to be fit and energetic. There are lots of chain pulls and stairs because the trails are steep and go straight upwards; the rocks are very slippery when wet.
Take spare warm clothes and plenty of water. Wear sturdy, comfortable hiking shoes or boots and thick socks. Hiking First Peak takes about 3 to 4 hours, and allow a full day if you're attempting the other peaks. The views are spectacular.
