A Slice of Spain in Historic Gastown

The term "Sardine Can" is actually an apt way to describe this small but bustling space. The design is meant to recall the intimate, minimalist design of tapas bars and restaurants in Barcelona and Madrid. Focus is on the food and atmosphere, as opposed to the decór.

Along with the tapas dishes, guests can enjoy a selection of Spanish beers, wines, sherries, and brandy. Come in for a quick bite or stay a while and relax with a meal and a drink. Simplicity served well is the goal of Chef Andrey Durbach and business partner Chris Stewart, creating great cuisine without the superfluous frills.
