A Haunting Happening

The Parade of Lost Souls offers visitors an alternative activity to conventional, humdrum Halloween parties. Planned and coordinated by the Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret Society, the participants in the parade arrive at in full haunting costume at a location that isn't disclosed until midnight on Halloween on the Society's website.

In celebration of the life and death cycle, everyone brings lanterns and constructs shrines. With no rules about what goes, the evening involves light, fire, music and dance. Full of mystery and considered to be an overwhelming success time after time, this Vancouver tradition has been taking place for 20 years already.
