Where the Meat Comes From

Historic Gastown in Vancouver recalls a more gritty time in the city, when this venerated waterfront neighborhood was home to Vancouver's first jail. Cheerful neighbors included a slaughterhouse and the meatpacking district, thus the dark humor in the name L'Abattior.

West Coast fare with French influence are what make up the menu here. This is accompanied by a comprehensive wine program and a list of creative cocktails. The two meals served are brunch and dinner. There is also a stunning private space available, complete with overhead chandeliers, loft ceilings, and functional windows.
