Chinatown Highlight

Vancouver has a long, venerable relationship with East Asia, of course, a transpacific connection that Chinatown's Centre A--the Vancouver International Centre for Contemporary Asian Art--celebrates front and center. The public gallery focuses on modern Asian and Asian-Canadian artwork of multiple media. Besides its permanent art collection and temporary exhibitions, Centre A's known for its nationally significant reading room focused on Asian arts.

Centre A regularly hosts lectures and other special events, so keep tabs on its calendar. Whether you're attending a program or simply coming to appreciate some fascinating fine art, this gallery's one of Vancouver's finest.
