Brix & Mortar is a higher-end downtown (technically Yaletown) restaurant that specializes in tapas and wine. The menu in general takes more of a local and Canadian tack than the usual Spanish influence, however. You'll likely be enjoying some butternut squash soup, lamb bacon salad, wild-caught salmon or potato rosti whether you decide to go for small plates or a regular full-sized meal.
Only dinner is served, but it's served seven days a week and past midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Wine is served by the glass and there are always at least 60 varieties to choose from.
