Brassneck's a tiny but industrious Mount Pleasant craft brewery with a wonderfully unpretentious disposition. There's excellent, creative beer being schemed up here--a remarkable variety of it, given the modest size of the place--and the intimate tasting room is enveloped by the impressive machinery that makes it all happen.
Though it's not a tavern, the Brassneck tasting room is a relaxed and sociable place to sample some super-fresh drafts while enjoying fodder from the food trucks just outside. You can also fill up a growler. A heads-up: Its small capacity (and the renown of its beer) means the tasting room fills up quickly.
