BuskerFest has been raising money for the charity Epilepsy Toronto since 1999. It does so by bringing together an epic gaggle of buskers (aka street performers and artists): magicians and mimes, clowns and acrobats, breakdancers and comedians, on-the-go musicians of any and all stripes, plus those simply unclassifiable types who nonetheless know how to put on a show. It's quite the extraordinary collection of talent strutting its stuff in Woodbine Park, your at-the-gates donation and passing-of-the-hat tips going to support Epilepsy Toronto's biggest yearly fundraiser. And sweetening the whole affair? A busking-enhanced beer garden.
