This beautiful beaux-arts style mansion, built more than a century ago, houses one of the most prestigious collections of royal and imperial items and paintings outside France herself. In addition to the collection of art and objects, the building itself is charming, with more than 40 rooms preserved in its original architectural beauty. The museum also includes the workshop of Guido Nincheri, a Florentine glassmaker and fresco artist who lived and worked in Montreal in the 20th century. During the growing season, the French garden makes for a charming stroll.
