Slice of Wild Bermuda

Much of Bermuda's been heavily modified by the hand of humanity, but Tom Moore's Jungle offers a glimpse of its primal, eons-old side. Its dozen acres, otherwise known as the Walsingham Nature Reserve, include lush mangrove forests packed with birds, scattered pools, and some evocative limestone caves, toothy with stalagmites and stalactites and flooded with seawater from Castle Harbor--and therefore swimmable!

Remarkably, even though it's situated on private land, Tom Moore's Jungle is absolutely free to the public to explore: an unbeatable deal, to say the least.
