It's appropriate that the Pickled Onion makes such a great place to have a drink: The bar/restaurant resides in a renovated building that, back in the 1800s, sold wine and spirits, then became a men's club, and, by the '60s, had evolved into the tavern called Ye Olde Cock and Feather. Probably the place has never looked so snazzy and upscale as it does now, as the remodeled version of the long-running Pickled Onion.
You can have a fine meal here, but it's also a great nightlife establishment with specialty cocktails up at the bar and live music for grooving.
