The Mary Celestia is one of Bermuda's most famous wrecks as its associated with the American Civil War. A sleek blockade runner, the Mary Celestia smuggled guns, ammunitions, and other supplies to the Confederate States of America during the war. In 1864, the ship sank after running into a reef.
