Located in Hamilton City at the intersection of Front Street and Queen Street, the Birdcage is a beloved city landmark that was once used by Bermuda police officers to regulate street traffic. City officials realized that the officers on duty needed to be protected from the sun, so this roofed cage-like structure was produced for the task.
