Slightly off the beaten path, near the Bourse, dark wood, emerald-colored glass, stale yellowish lighting and good drinks, make Le Cirio a favorite of both tourists and locals. Once seated, be sure to take in your surroundings: the waiters dress neatly in black and white, the walls are dotted with intricate wooden carvings, and plenty of locals hang out there, either to read silently or chat with friends. The food is tasty; everything from light, crispy waffles to delicious Italian pasta dishes is served, however, you cannot visit Le Cirio without trying the house “half and half,” (half champagne and half white wine). Reasonable prices, good service, and an atmosphere seemingly out of a Hollywood movie, make Le Cirio much more than a drink and a meal.
