A Long-Standing Tradition

Located in the Queen's section of the Saint Hubert gallery, La Taverne du Passage is known for its history just as much as its food. A definite tourist attraction, this restaurant is famous for its Art Deco style and popularity with historic Belgian figures such as surrealist painter René Magritte. Traditional Belgian fare is served here, such as shrimp croquettes, waterzooï, endive with ham, and roast beef carved table side. Prices are a little high here-- you're paying for the atmosphere just as much as the food, so sit back and enjoy grand glass-roofed arcade, white-jacketed service, and extensive wine list. You'll feel like a true Belgian before long.
