La Quincaillerie is a fine dining establishment located in what used to be an old ironmonger’s shop. Hence, the design of the restaurant itself is very unique. A large clock sits dead center on the back wall and either side of the restaurant is lined with tiny drawers, no doubt once filled with knobs and bolts. Today however, La Quincaillerie represents a growing and fresh perspective on fine dining, offering only what’s in season and free-ranged meats from local partnering farms. They have an extensive oyster bar and all breads and desserts are made in house. For those hoping to experience fine dining without the price, La Quincaillerie offers a 3-course pre-set menu for €29.
*La Quincaillerie is a few miles away from the Grand Place but take the 3 or 4 tram towards Churchhill or Stalle and transfer to the 81 or walk from there.
