The Horta Museum is an essential display of Art Nouveau architecture and art situated in the home of architect Victor Horta. Horta designed and constructed the home between 1898-1901 and to this day it remains well preserved. Walk through this Art Nouveau home, winding up elaborately decorated and detailed staircases, looking out leaded and stained glass windows, and observing the ornate molding and finishes that adorn each room. From tiled mosaics to buttressed ceilings, the Horta Museum is a great opportunity to indulge in the decadent styles of Horta and Art Nouveau. The museum is located outside the city center but is easily accessible by tram (81, 91, 92, 97) or by bus (54).
