Being that Brussels is the “home of mussels,” seafood in the area is superb, and François is no exception. Near the Grand Place, in the middle of the ‘Fish Market,’ François offers a variety of fresh fish and shellfish; in fact, the restaurant neighbors its very own fish shop. The more daring of travelers may try the unique moules parquées (raw mussels), but the menu is quite large, thus there is something for everyone. Many say that François is the best seafood restaurant in the city, though keep in mind that such quality does not come without a price. Furthermore, the staff is very accommodating and welcoming. Ideal for larger groups or the more luxurious traveler, François offers an unmatchable dining experience.
