This area of Bridgetown has been designated by the government as an area for small stalls for local vendors and craftsmen to show and sell their wares. There is also a large open building where you will find all manner of fresh, local produce at competitive prices. If you want to see lively and welcoming Bajan culture at its best then this is the place to be, especially if you are lucky enough to be able to visit on a Saturday.

Even if you do not really want to buy anything, you can still get a lot out of a visit here, if only because you will get the opportunity to speak with some real Bajan characters.
