This is a lovely beach for sunbathing and paddling in shallow water, but beach shoes are recommended as there are some rocks. The snorkeling is rewarding too, but if you want to swim, you need to get a long way out due to the very gentle incline and shallow depth. It's a pleasant, quiet and peaceful beach, with several small bays along its length.
You could walk a short way northwards to find better swimming, and a chance to swim with turtles for free, as the spot where tourist boats stop is close by.
