An Evening with the Stars

This little observatory, the only one of its kind in the Caribbean, is named for Dr. Bayley, founder of the Barbados Astronomical Society. A visit here puts a celestial perspective on the world and your life.

You can head here on any Friday night for an informative lecture and presentation, cleverly pitched to appeal to young and old, then go on to look through the telescope and see the rings of Saturn, the bright-red Mars, and the craters on the moon and maybe a few shooting stars. It's a Friday night out you won't forget.
