A long, white beach with crystal-clear water, this is a great place to swim and a good beach for children, since the waters are calm and there's a lifeguard on duty. It overlooks the wreck-filled Carlisle Bay, where frog fish and seahorses breed in their underwater world, observed by divers, snorkelers and passengers in the glass-bottomed boats that leave from this beach. It's a popular venue for a multitude of water-sports, like paddle-boarding and para-sailing.
It's classic territory for a perfect day at the beach, with the Boat Yard beach bar to complete the picture. But bring your sunscreen as there's very little shade here.
