Batts Rock Beach gets less publicity than some other beaches because it's not attached to a hotel. Yet it has a lot to offer, like white sand, peace and quiet, good shade and a great central location. It's amazing that more people don't head there, but the fact is that it's possible to even get the beach all to yourself. Most beach goers here are local people. If you walk a little way along to the next point to the right, you can reach a nice snorkel spot with teeming undersea life to observe.
There's a public restroom but no food stands, so bring what you need in terms of refreshments to last you until you're ready to leave.
