Oldest Zoo in the World

Opened in 1752, the Vienna Zoo is the oldest existing zoo in the world and is also one of the best. Located on the grounds of the Schonbrunn Palace and named accordingly, it’s just a little outside the city but can feel miles away once inside. The zoo has taken many measures toward conservation and animal rights policies, making this attraction great for animal lovers and those concerned with the environment. With some of the rarest and most famous animals in the world, including giant pandas, Siberian tigers, bearded dragons and Indian cobras, there is something for everyone to see.
