St. Charles's Church is a Baroque-style church located on the south side of Karlsplatz in Vienna. The entrance fee includes a tour of this magnificent work of Baroque architecture. The tour begins by taking you up in an industrial lift to the base of the dome. Next, you climb a set of stairs that takes you high into the clouds to the very top of the dome. From there, you will be surrounded by the deities, angels and cupids, all of which are depicted in the carvings and paintings done hundreds of years ago. On your way out, make sure to spend a little time in front of the church where there is a large reflecting pond—a great opportunity to snap some excellent photos and enjoy the sights.
