St. Augustine's Church offers visitors beautiful, historically significant architecture as well as a variety of musical masses. The church was originally constructed in the 14th century and has since seen the weddings of historical figures like Napoleon Bonaparte and Franz Ferdinand. Decorated in true gothic style with baroque elements, the interior contains several large chandeliers and statues. The mass that is offered every Sunday features musical performances with choirs, orchestras, and various other musical instruments. Due to the church’s ambiance and appearance, these masses are extremely popular and therefore very crowded. Expect crowds and make sure to arrive early.
