Lone Pine, established in 1927, is the oldest and biggest koala sanctuary in the world, giving you the perfect opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the most ridiculously endearing critters on Planet Earth. There's more than 100 of the furry, big-eared buggers here, ready to be held and hand-fed by visitors. The koalas may be the stars of the whole shebang, but there's quite the menagerie of other Aussie animals here, too: from Tasmanian devils to echidnas to cassowaries. The sanctuary also puts on a variety of live shows, including awesome sheep-dog demos.
