Go By River

Hey, wanna take advantage of highly affordable sightseeing along the Brisbane River? Then hop aboard one of the CityHopper ferries or CityCat catamarans servicing the city and its suburbs. Students and commuters take advantage of the speedy fleet, but so do plenty of in the know tourists looking for on-the-water views of the gorgeous Brisbane cityscape and easy access to attractions such as the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and the City Botanic Gardens. The CityHopper monohull ferries are free to ride, while the sleeker CityCats--which cover a bit more ground (err, water)--require a fare.
