Although Wariruri Beach features a sand cove, it is surrounded by rocky coastline. Nevertheless, the waves at this beach draw a myriad of surfers. Beach-goers often come simply to watch surfers in action.
Because the currents at Wariruri are quite strong, the beach isn't suitable for snorkeling or swimming. It does attract many fishermen though. The beach is also ideal for exploring with its pristine features. Wariruri is not easily accessible, but you can get there by car. If possible, rent a four-wheel drive vehicle to see this rockier side of the island.
