A Day at the Races

Aruba Hi-Winds lays claim to one of the biggest and flashiest watersports events in the Caribbean. This internationally known multiday tournament, held in June or July each year, includes an intense and vigorous slew of kiteboarding and windsurfing races plus some über-acrobatic freestyle competitions, with contestants hailing from all over the world.

The main action takes place off the Fisherman's Huts (Hadicurari Beach), where reliable breezes and calm waters boil down to ideal conditions for wind-riders--and where stunning sands make comfortable quarters for onshore spectators.
