Photos and Coconuts

A quaint little highway stop for photos and refreshments, this big red anchor is located just outside of St. Nichols near the south coast. If the coconut vendor is nearby, you can enjoy a fresh, cool, and healthy drink at a very good price while taking in a stellar view and contemplating the brave and intrepid mariners who took on the vast and faceless ocean to discover an island paradise.

The area just beyond the anchor is known as Grapefield, and you can use this memorial as a landmark on the way to the coast. Other interesting sites nearby include an elaborate pet cemetery and Baby Beach.
