No, not baseball, but certainly football (soccer) and rugby. Located on the western edge of the city, this stadium is the home of the Vélez Sáarsfield football club in the Argentine Primera Division. It's also home to the Los Pumas team in the national rugby union and the Jaguares franchise in the new Super Rugby league. The modern grounds have a capacity of over 49,000 spectators, less than half of that includes seating (as with many Latin American stadiums, standing room tickets are common). If you're a fan of either sport, this is a great venue to see some great games. It's a bit of a trip to get there, though. Located in a primarily residential neighborhood, there are few restaurants and bars in the area, so you'll want to get a bite to eat before you leave for the game.
