When you read the words "shopping mall," just re-think everything you expect. The Galerias Pacifico is unlike anything you'll find in any North American suburb. Instead, imagine a late 19th-century Parisian-style stone structure that has a beautiful arched glass skylight over the central hall. The fact that this gallery has been declared a National Historical Monument should give you an idea of its elegant architecture. Not that it is dowdy - not at all! From such international shops as Tommy Hilfiger and Swarovski to local clothing, jewelry and electronic stores, you'll have your choice of more than 150 shops.
