This family-run trattoria has a strong, loyal following among the locals, which tells you about the quality of the food and service. There are no menus: The server (often the owner himself) will simply ask if you prefer red or white wine and then begin to bring you dishes that are being prepared at that moment. You'll have picadas (tapas), pizza, pasta, fish and meat dishes in a dizzying variety until you can't eat any more. The food is delicious, the wine is excellent and the portions are generous. Even though this little restaurant keeps getting glowing reviews in the international food press, it still retains is family-run, friendly atmosphere. Reservations are strongly recommended, though, especially on weekends.
